’Twas the week before Christmas, when all through Discord
The mood was somber and quiet, and people seemed bored.
The price has been falling, and wallets were bare,
But hopes that Sapphire with ANS soon would be there.
The holders were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of l̶a̶m̶b̶o̶s̶ scooters danced in their heads;
The bear was upon us, and had eaten our stack.
Bitcoin had settled for a long winter’s nap.
When out on GitHub there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But new GitHub commits, so I opened a beer.
From a young developer, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Griff.
More rapid than eagles his team they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;
“Now, Henry! Now, Dylan! now, Nick and Bruno!
On, Buddha! on Wim! on, Carlton! and Smaho!”
So onto Discord they logged in to find out,
The exchanges found a bug in the code they laid out.
So St. Griff is pushing an update to fix
So we can sign up for ANS, in just a few clicks.
While sapphire work continues to progress;
Dylan and Nick are under lots of stress,
To ensure that everyone can use the new code base
It will be so awesome it will melt your face!
The foundation website is still under construction,
Wim is paying for it through his skills of seduction
As he doesn’t have any cash you see,
So he uses whatever means are necessary.
Sometimes for progress you need to get dirty,
Which means Wim needs to get a little bit flirty.
But the team is still working, doing whatever they can
They wish you all a Happy Holidays, celebrate with your clan
So from all of us to all of you, may your holidays be bright.
